He said this assessment was well-founded, citing Russian plans and military capabilities that are being developed and deployed in close proximity to NATO borders. He added that Russia had invested in these capabilities over decades and was clearly preparing for a long-term confrontation with NATO.

Russia politicians have been drinking their own propoganda. Their Army is struggling to defeat Ukraine by itself, they are relying on conscripts and N.Korean soldiers to help fill their ranks. They're economy is crippled, and they are running out of young bodies to keep up this war. What's worse is they can't even keep their current troops properly stocked and fed. Their soldiers rely on what they are able to find in the field or what they bring with them - they are essentially glorified sacrifices. Putin and Company are operating on hopes and dreams and are fooling themselves if they think they can take on NATO. I mean JFC, they're at a point where they are offering money for girls and women to get pregnant, as they need more warm bodies to feed to their meat grinder.

Russia will not survive a multi-front war - economically or militarily.

By law of the internet, is your argument invalid, as you have written 'they're economy' instead of 'their economy'.
