Unpopular opinion. I liked Mickey 17. It's a problematic movie mostly because the premise brings with it all these expectations about what the movie "should" be. The movie absolutely breaks all of those expectations with its almost slapstick comedic satire. Also Ruffalo does one hell of a great impersonation.
I want to see the movie, not because of the movie itself, but because of how split the reviews are. I only heard how absolutely bad it was, but in the first post about it here that i saw, everyone seemed to really like it. I don't think it's for me, just because uf ruffalo, but i'm still curious
I'd say go see it. We loved it. I think it's probably partly that some people might not catch the tone of the movie, especially Mark Ruffalos character being a parody of several people at once.
Just watch it without any reviews or prior knowledge and enjoy it for what it is.
Will do, thanks
