Slow and steady. The live threads are pretty good. It's nice to get a word in and have people respond, instead of being lost in a sea.
I do however wonder how much some people see if they have federation turned off, since a fair number of posts are from lemmy accounts. I know when I toggle it on and off, there is a big difference.
Shoutout to the mods for starting m/mma and sticking with it. I'm sure all the subreddits hoped for something by going private in protest, but very few were proactive. It's actually kind of sad that something mma related put more effort into branching out.
Also shoutout to the community who posts even if there isn't a lot of engagement.
I'm with you on the live thread front. With a thousand+ people talking about the fights at the same time, comments get buried quick. Not saying we don't want those numbers here, but it is nice to be able to maintain a conversation. Happy to have you here!
