Spin-offs (ex. The Sims Bustin' Out)
Unique console releases (ex. The Wii version of The Sims 3)
Mods and other fan-made content (ex. fan art)
The Sims-like games/competing life simulators (Tiny Life, Paralives, Vivaland, and inZOI are in-development games I am aware of)

It's so goddamn annoying!!!!!! I can't use my card or PayPal, and I don't have any other payment methods. I'm European and generally use a VPN, but even if I turn my VPN off I can't get a payment through!!!! I just want to know if anyone else shares my PAIN. Also, is there a hidden basket feature in the ea app because having to buy stuff individually is also complete bull. Also also if you ask why i don't pirate/use content unlocker, I kind of have a sunk-cost fallacy thing going on...

If there is a hidden basket, it is unfortunately extremely hidden.

I don't have a problem with the payments, but I haven't bought anything, sense the kits release day. So it can definitely have broken after that. It wouldn't surprise me; they managed to break the downloading again.

Have you tried turning off the VPN and restarting the app or even the computer so they do a clean start without the VPN? That might help.

Also, while we are complaining about the app, it really sucks with anything related to offline. It throws a tantrum if it is offline too long, it can't start games offline, and the remember me feature doesn't work if it lost internet in between logins.

Oh god I forgot about the Offline BS... Back to the original topic, I've tried those and it just doesn't work!! I eventually tried buying directly from the ea website, despite having issues with that in the past, and it worked this time.... so problem solved... For Now. I BET that next time I try to do that it'll throw a tantrum again

Most likely, if it one thing it is good at it is throwing tantrums. Glad that you managed to solve it.
