Not everyone, IIRC like half of all privately owned firearms are in the hands of about 1% of the population, either die hard collectors or lunatic preppers.
You're also forgetting the sensible people like farmers, hunters, and people who like the sport of target shooting.
No I'm not, I specifically only said those nuts own half.
Reasonable and responsible gun owners are where the other half goes.
