Opinions on serving alcohol at an event ostensibly about the child? Confirmation, graduations, bar mitzvah, birthdays, etc?
I think it's fine, but I usually leave it as a BYOB situation. These days Im never really in the mood to drink.
I've become heavily against it for just how much attention it takes away from the children, and also because drunk adults are literally the worst company for children.
I think those are totally valid reasons.
Are you willing to serve as testimony the next time I have the conflict?
