Harry Hill and "Big Brother Alan" (Al Murray) take a look at what's on television. From The Harry Hill Show, shown on Channel 4, 1997 (or possibly a year or two later).

This originates from Teletext, where the date format made 10th March look like MAR10.

Was going to post this to [email protected] but it's not a very clean recovery, and I'm unsure if the artist is Julie Chandler or Tricia (can't find her last name).

In 1993, the classic CITV kids show Knightmare became a playable teletext adventure game, giving Bamboozle a week off. Digitiser's own Mr Biffo had a direct hand in its creation - and with Sanja at his side, revisits it once again.

Not for kids!

The link contains four Knightmare quests which were on Teletext. Eagle Quest and Swamp Quest are the two newly recovered ones.

if you're familiar with the minitel videotex terminals, you are probably less familiar with our canadian equivalent: bell's AlexTel system. someone managed to send NAPLPS commands to it and made some vector drawings!

In the aftermath of my Teletext experiments on Amiga – which I totally believed to be a world’s first breakthrough – blog reader Martin contacted me to tell me about his own Teletext experiments back in 1992, with a working solution in 1994, making his setup probably the real world’s first Teletext output directly from the Amiga!

In 1974, a brand new technology called teletext was being rolled out. It would, over the next few decades, have far-reaching implications, not only in the UK but worldwide. These are the stories of those involved in the production, restoration and art of the blocky medium that graced UK TV screens until 2012. You’ll hear from the pioneers, those who made teletext tick, and the newcomers keeping the medium alive 50 years after its inception. This is a social record of teletext, and these are the teletext people.

TEEFAX is a mysterious puzzle adventure game that has you solve a cold case after an old laptop containing the photos of a long unidentified victim is found in an abandoned house. There is also an app on the laptop - The Door. The police reckon it may be a cipher of some sort, but as they are unsuccessful in solving it, they turn to the public.

Welcome back to 1995. You turn your TV on, but there's an ad break! You press the red button to check out your favorite passtime. As you browse through, you see there's a lot missing. News articles not displaying, games out of order. Is anyone even keeping this updated anymore? Where did they go?
