It's from Fightful Select and SRS does not deserve my $5 so no more than the headline at the moment. Will update if more info comes public.

The 41-year-old is believed to have suffered injuries to both ankles.

Didn't watch the match yet but I did see the odd clip or three...yeesh these two should not have fought, and def not main evented.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t the company’s call to split us. Me and Santana just couldn’t get it together personally and he just was very adamant about not working with me anymore, for whatever reason. So, the company kind of had no choice but to split us up.

So they’re like, ‘Okay, you’re not going to just not tag, it doesn’t make any sense. Let’s at least make this make sense why you split.' But even when we did it on TV, it just ended up, I feel like, being kind of rushed and you know what I mean? Due to stuff that was going on backstage and it was making it hard to really put forward a program.

We could have forced a hand a little bit more where we did have the opportunities that we had. I can't completely blame the company because there was talks about (us winning the tag titles) but it was almost like it was never the right time. It just wasn't our time and it was just because we were always intertwined with a huge storyline with the Inner Circle and it would have been hard to like sway off and do our own tag thing and go after the tag titles.

It was actually supposed to happen more than once but just due to stuff out of our control, or out of my control, it just never seemed to pan out.

It's not like those people on the internet that were clamoring for us to be tag team champions, it was noticed by the people in AEW and above. It almost happened two times, it just never panned out. I won't get into the weeds of things only because I think I'll get in trouble if I do.

I went and saw The Iron Claw tonight with my brother and thought I’d share my thoughts. Unless you’re completely unaware of the movie or family involved, I’d say this is a non-spoilery post.

Taking it in as a sports drama, I think it did a fantastic job. Yeah, I felt weird going in knowing that Chris wasn’t in the movie, but by the end I understood why the filmmakers made the decision, even if I still feel a little weird about it.

I got the impression they didn’t have the biggest budget, but worked well within it. After all, the focus is so much on the acting, that it doesn’t matter that it’s not a flashy movie. Speaking of the acting, I was impressed by Zac Efron. Lily James actually felt important as Kevin’s wife, Pam, and kind of grounded portions of the story. I was also surprised by how much it made me care about Mike. I really enjoyed that actor.

If you’re a stickler for facts, you might struggle watching the movie. The timing of some events is a bit wonky, but worked well for a drama. If you can turn off that part of the brain, ignore things like ring rope colors, I think you’ll enjoy the movie a lot.

As far as the common complaints from wrestling fans that I’ve seen: while a lot of Fritz’s worst actions aren’t shown, I don’t think audiences won’t be horrified by him. Some people near me gasped at some of the stuff Fritz said. And the Ric Flair stuff seems a bit overblown now that I’ve seen it. Ric Flair shows up for a short time and it’s just not a perfect impression (and a bad wig). Meanwhile, I was captivated by the Harley Race segment.

I plan on recommending it to drama, and especially sports drama, fans. And I wouldn’t mind buying it once it’s out. If you’re susceptible to ear worms, you’ll probably get some of the music stuck in your head.

And happy new year, everyone!

Fightful confirms the rumors about Andrade and adds more information.

Wednesday, on Dynamite, numerous sources indicated that Andrade made it clear that he no longer wanted to be in AEW and was planning on leaving. It was said that the situation surrounding Andrade’s exit was less than pleasant, with some even saying a major disagreement had unfolded

It was also noted that, “WWE sources had been told by those close to Andrade that his deal wouldn’t be up until at least the spring, but many we spoke to in AEW expected his deal to be up imminently"

Many in both AEW and WWE anticipated his return to WWE. Reports circulated about internal discussions regarding a potential comeback at WWE Day 1 Raw, a notion also hinted at by Triple H. However, a source reportedly appeared “befuddled” at the idea that it would be Andrade, though not explicitly refuting it. Confirmation of such a matter is improbable, given that Andrade is still with AEW.

Dunn, who held the post of Executive Producer & Chief, Global Television Distribution, informed WWE around Christmas week he was exiting after more than three decades with the company. We are told that a big factor in his decision to retire is changes made internally post-Endeavor acquisition and as one source stated, that Dunn was "never going to do anything that was dictacted" to him, as opposed to how he personally oversaw production in the past. We are told this was not an issue of creative but two differing versions of how things should be run from a TV production perspective as WWE's new owner seeks to cut costs.

... See link for full story, this is truly the end of an era.
