Expansionen utspelas i dåtid i staden Ulduar, som reser sig ovanför fängslade Yogg-Saron. Spelarna får följa Titanerna, som som har här sin storhetstid, ränner runt och håller låda.

I nya expansionen, som kallas "Titan" så får spelare elva nya Legendary kort som representerar Azeroths Titans, samt ny spelmekanik som ger minions multipla färdigheter.

Super Mario RPG släpptes ursprungligen till Super Nintendo 1996 i Japan och Nordamerika. Vi i Europa fick vänta tills 2015 då det släpptes även här på Wii U konsolen.

Remake versionen går över till 3D och ska släppas den 17:e November 2023.

Trippa i svampriket i nya Super Mario Bros. Wonder

På Nintendo Direct fick vi veta att ett nytt Super Mario Bros spel är på intågande. Den här gången så är spelet ett sidoskrollande äventyr i 2D!

Men där är såklart en twist i spelmekaniken, nämligen "Wonder Flowers". När dessa blommor aktiveras, omvandlas svampriket till något helt annat än vad vi har sett hittills!

Utöver Mario, så kommer kunna spela som prinsessorna Peach och Daisy, Luigi, Yoshi och Toad. Mario kommer även kunna klä ut sig i en helt ny kostym, Elefant-Mario!

Spelet ska nog även kunna spelas i co-op för dom som vill, och spelet släpps den 20 oktober till Nintendo Switch.

Har E3-eran gått i graven?

E3-mässan blev som bekant inställ i år och nu ser det även ut som att framtiden för mässan är väldigt osäker. Det har redan ryktats att E3 2024 och 2025 redan är inställda enligt Los Angeles City Tourism Board of Commissioners. Nu verkar det emellertid inte riktigt som om inställningen är bordlagd och klubbad. Det handlar mer om att inget ekonomiskt beslut för mässan inte än är taget.

Oavsett verkar det som om en era har gått i graven. Även om E3 återvänder så kommer mässan nog inte riktigt vara detsamma som förut.

Magic The Gathering expansionen The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth släpptes officiellt idag.

Med expansionen så finns där ett speciellt kort, ett precious kort, som bara finns en officiell kopia av, i hela världen.

Föga oväntat så är det stor hype runt om kortet, och vissa är mer angelägna av att äga kortet än andra.

I en artikel på Star City Games så rapporteras att spanska företaget Gremio de Dregones, är beredda att betala $2 000 000(!) för kortet, om det är i god kondition. Därtill betalar företaget även resa och boende i Valencia om du skulle vilja sälja kortet till dom.

Det mycket begärda kortet finns bara i en engelskt Collector Booster produkt, någonstans i världen.

The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth är den nya expansionen till Magic: The Gathering Universes Beyond-universumet.

Massvis med nya kort med Lotr Tema direkt från Tolkiens älskade värld. Till dom nya korten kommer även nya spelmekaniker såsom "The Ring Tempts You".

En extra gimmick till expansionen är "the one ring" kortet som bara finns i ett enda exemplar (Serialized 001 of 001). Detta kort finns bara i ett engelskt Collector Booster förpackning någonstans i världen.

Inte helt oväntat så är folk galna efter just det här kortet, och har förtillfället en "hittelön" på ca. $2 000 000 (DOLLAR Ragnar, DOLLAR!)

The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth tillhör Universes Beyond-universumet och är främst designad till spelas i draft och är "straight-to-modern".

Detta betyder det att korten inte är tillåtna i standard och Pioneer, utan är tillåtna i Modern samt Eternal format (Vintage, Legacy, Commander och Pauper).

För dom som föredrar att spela digitalt online, kommer denna expansion att finnas online på både Magic Online och Magic Arena. Expansionen kommer att vara spelbart i Alchemy och Historic.

Deluxe Battle Decks med Meowscarada ex och Quaquaval ex

Det ser ut som att vi kommer att få två nya Level 2 produkter i höst! Den nya produktlinjen heter "Delux Battle Deck", som antingen kommer att ersätta eller finnas vid sidan av League Battle Deck som är designade till att vara level 3 decks.

Jämför vi med dagens meta deck, så är dessa deck tyvärr inga kioskvältare. Produkterna är designade för level 2 vilket innebär dom är inte tillräckligt bra för meta eller större turneringar, utan att först behövas modifieras. Senaste Mew VMAX League Battle Deck är t. .ex ett level 3 deck.

Men du behöver inte fnysa och kasta dessa deck åt sidan för det. Dessa deck är ändå mycket bra när det gäller deckdesign och funktionalitet. Dom funkar utmärkt för spel runt matbordet och i lokala turneringar och spel.

Där är plats för optimeringar för båda decken, men dom funkar mycket bra direkt ur förpackningen. Vissa skulle påstå att Quaquaval ex är lite starkare än Meowscarada ex, men det är nog mest en smaksak och något som kan diskuteras i all evighet.

Enligt vad jag har läst, så ska dessa två Delux Battle Deck produkter släppas i september i år.

Guide

Formatet är skapat av amerikanska Pokemonspelare, streamer och youtube:r Andrew "Trickygym" Mahone.

Det nya formatet är ett så kallat "Singleton-mono color-format" format, där du kan bara använda dig av en typ (grass, metal, fire, water, colorless osv.) i hela ditt deck. Du får även endast ha ett kort av varje med undantag för Basic Energy kort. Begränsningen är, precis som i standard reglerna, är baserad på kortets namn. Det betyder att du bara få ha ett kort av t.ex "Pikachu". Men du får även ha en kopia av "Detective Pikachu". Märk att regeln gäller även för stage 1 och stage 2 Pokemon samt för trainer-, item- och tool-kort.

Utöver färg och antal korttyper, så får inte Pokemon med en regelbox användas. Pokemon som har en regelbox är V, VMAX, Vstar, Radiant, EX, ex osv. Är du osäker på om en Pokemon har en regelbox? Titta nere i högra hörnet, om det står något i stil med "Pokémon ex rule", så är detta Pokemonkort inte tillåtet.

GLC är ett expanded format, vilket innebär att ALLA kort från Black&White generationen och framåt är tillåtna. Änsålänge så är bara ett fåtal kort bannade från GLC. Andrew Mahone är väldigt aktiv när det gäller att se till att hålla formatet fräscht och rättvist. Lista med otillåtna kort kan du hitta här.

Pokemon har erkännt det nya formatet genom att anordna GLC side events på officiella Pokemon turneringar. Formatet nämns även bland Pokemons "alternativa spelformat" dokumentation.

Fast formatet är erkännt av Pokemon, så finns det inget GLC spelläge i deras Pokemon Live PC klient. Det är dock tekniskt möjligt att bygga ett GLC deck i klienten och spela mot vänner eller i expanded efter egen förmåga.

Regler

• Ett deck måste innehålla exakt 60 kort.
• Endast använda en sorts typ (grass, metal, fire, water, colorless osv.).
• Du får endast ha ett kort av varje sort, baserat på kortets namn.
• Antalet basic Energies som du använder i ditt deck är inte begränsat.
• Alla kort med en regelbox (V, Vmax, Vstar, radiant, EX osv.) är inte tillåtna.
• Alla kort från Black&White och framåt är tillåtna.

Men hur är spelupplevelsen?

Med alla kortbegränsningar så kräver GLC en ny strategi och ett nytt sätt att tänka på när man spelar. Även när man skapar sitt GLC deck så måste man tänka i helt nya banor. Då formatet tillåter såpass många kort från tidigare generationer, kan man vara mycket kreativ när det gäller deckbyggnadet och komma fram till massor av olika strategier och ideer. Att skapa kombinationer med nya och gamla Pokemon kort är absolut möjligt. Detta för med sig att meta-poolen blir större och du har mer frihet att bygga olika deck.

På grund av att Pokemon med regler inte är med i formatet så tar en spelrunda mer tid, än en spelrunda i standard. Men att det tar längre tid att forma och bygga upp sin strategi är absolut inget negativt. Det är roligare och mer utmanande att få chansen till att verkligen få spela.

Gym Leader Challenge (GLC) är ett roligt, och spännande, alternativ format till både standard och expanded, och rekommenderas verkligen!

Den nya Pokemon TCG expansionen Scarlet & Violet—151 är nu officiell! Expansionen kommer att släppas den 22 September 2023, och kommer att innehålla mer än 160 kort.

Likt Sword & shield - Pokemon Go samt Sword & shield - Crown Zenith, är Scarlet & Violet—151 en special expansion, vilket innebär att korten inte kommer finnas i enskilda booster packs, utan bara i specialprodukter.

Expansionen kommer innehålla dom första 151, orginal, Pokemon som skapades, därav namnet 151.

Men vi behöver inte, som tur är, vänta tills hösten för nästa TCG expansion. För att Scarlet & Violet—Obsidian Flames, som följer den senaste expansionen Paldea Evolved, kommer att släppas den 11:e Augusti 2023.
