Like the title suggests, I'm trying to get my foot into the aerospace industry in Canada. I am studying engineering and trying to get my first internship but I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to specifcally get an internship at a aerospace related company in Canada?

I live somewhat near Vandenberg Space Force Base and frequently check on the launch schedule. This year I’ve noticed there are 1-3 launches per week, most but not all of which are SpaceX.

However I just checked for the first time in a while, and there are practically no scheduled launches coming up. Only 2 launches, both of which are scheduled for September.

So what gives? Why has the launch cadence gone down so much? Are they building something, is it a seasonal thing, or am I missing something ?

Has anyone attended the Adult Space Academy or Adult Advanced Space Academy in Huntsville? How was the experience? What types of activities did they have? Is it something you would want to do again? Growing up, I always wanted to go to Space Camp, but never got the chance. I wanted to know what it is like going as an adult.

Not sure if this exists, but is there a top-down style map of the galaxy that will show you the location of cataloged stars?

I just read a story about SNR 0509-67.5, and I'd like to know where it is in relation to us.

I can kind of do this in Elite Dangerous, sorta...but it's a game so who knows how accurate it is.
