Going into it, it was pretty jarring. But I don't know if any of you have ever watched Ashens before, the VA reminds me exactly of Ashens, especially when he is voicing Korvo angrily, reminds me of the "f*cking inflatable f*cking crowns" I am sold, to start off with I wasn't so sure, I didn't like it too much at first, but now I really enjoy it.

In Season 3 episode 5 you see a doped up Pupa painting a mural on the ceiling before the family gets home, and he would destroy it. Prior to that it said "My family." and tears filled his eyes as he loved those around them, he'd want to attack them at times, get annoyed with them at other times, but his love for them is endless.

The next episode is the 99 ships episode where the Pupa, and the SOs can all see how it works. How terraforming the planet actually looks like. Korvo believes the planet should already be turned by now. If we're going year to year this is the third season, so the third year they've been stuck on Earth, however a look back at Season One, Episode one Korvo announced that "We've already been stranded here for a year."

It wouldn't take Pupa four years to do it as we saw in 99 ships Team One got there virtually fast, not a few hours or days but it doesn't appear to be longer than one full earth cycle.

Pupa's love for his family stops him from fulfilling his own purpose and he'd rather be with his family, then be responsible for his death, and the entire worlds.

He did such a fantastic job, and honestly this voice is much better suited for Korvo’s “Holier than thou,” attitude. Going back and Korvos voice just feels non-special, un-inspired Rick.

For clarification, I love Rick and Morty and I’m glad we’re getting sound-a-likes for season 7. But just another “Rick” doesn’t do Korvo justice, and I feel like Dan gave me a better understanding of Korvo’s character. He went from meh character, Terrys still the best, to, damn they’re both good and the dynamic is great.

So yeah, just wanted to throw my 2 cents in that New Korvo is awesome and I can’t wait to see more.
