Had ordered some containers from Amazon, they sent me a Switch 2 by mistake. I've heard of mistakes like this for years but always assumed it was kinda BS.

I am a bit of an avoidant introvert. I hate being out in crouds. I hate having to deal with people in person. I don't like speaking. But I do like talking online. I like hanging out with people... online. In games or VRchat or chatrooms or forums.

The only real difference I can see why this might be is the expected behaviour and etiquette. IRL, it would be rude as fuck if a random person just joined a conversation you and your friends were having at a restaurant or something. It would be rude to not engage at all if you were invited to a party.

But online it's totally different. It's not rude to just join an ongoing conversation between strangers. It's not rude to lurk. I can get as much or as little social interaction I need, at my own pace, take part in conversations I want to and only read others I don't have anything to add but still may be interested in.

I'll be leaving my phone at home and going to the No Kings rally in my city tomorrow. Probably won't be commenting until late. If I don't reappear by Sunday, I'm in trouble.

I've been seeing these kinds of memes a lot and it finally had me think "well shit, maybe I should go see the movie." But then I was like, "Hey wait a minute... Maybe this is like that Morbius thing."

There is a stray in my apartment complex that was part of a litter born on my porch the day I moved in that greets me almost every time I leave. I call him Cosmo but I know the lady who lives above me calls him Bob. And I also know that he is fed by at least 8 other people around the complex, which got me wondering: What do they call him?

Based on a true story.

My ex-wife has been trying to contact me for a few weeks while I've been ignoring her because I assumed it was just more bullshit like always. But she managed to get in contact with my dad and the reason she has been trying to get a hold of me is because she apparently tested positive for syphilis and has had it for several years. So now I have to go get checked myself... Fucking A, man... I'm allergic to penicillins and I know that's the treatment if I end up having it. Not even in my life anymore and she still manages to cause me stress.

I finished Adastra and I just want to die because I can't do anything new with Amicus. 😭

What if wishing on a shooting star actually grants wishes and the only reason it's commonly believed to be superstition is because nobody has actually seen a shooting star we've only seen crashing rocks? 🤔
