Synopsis: Joshua Munce, Sheila Hardy, Dan Whitely, Max Highland, Tonya Keifer, Marvin Su… this pair has many names, but those names aren’t their own; they’re names to sell. In a rigged and crumbling system, the only way to get ahead is to circumvent the rules, but that comes with its own risks. Police, investigations, prison. Too risky.

There are other ways, more insulated, which are to play assist and help those people. Helping them to disappear, cleaning up messes, escrow services for the handling of good, payment, or guests. Always keeping it professional, keeping things insulated, with layers of distance. When others panic, with too many variables to consider in the heat of the moment, they can do the thinking. The fact they're a mom and dad with two kids isn't the cover, it's the reason.

Author comments: Claw will run for a short time to bridge things in the interim, and is a bit of a pattern break for myself, in more than one way.

I'd describe the intended story as a crime procedural, running for a handful of arcs. A bit of a break from superpowers and magic, but with some other things going on to keep it interesting.

Starts March 9th.

General life update: Moved out, waiting for my stuff to arrive before I can move in. All is (reasonably) well. Did get stuck in the airport for pretty much a full day in total and arrived to find the water isn't hooked up in my new apartment, plus had time with family, so that's why things are launching next week and not tonight. I know the sci-fi story was much-hyped, but given circumstances (including the artist I hired for the site art ghosting me), I'm giving the proposed sci-fi work a bit more time in the oven. It should follow Claw.

Hello /c/Parahumans. For this month, our creative abilities are set to the world of Worm & Ward once again. Let's see what superpowers we can generate this time.

The goal of these gen threads is to have fun coming up with interesting ideas that could belong in this setting. As a side note, it seems Wildbow is about to begin his newest story soon. I'm wondering when would it be best to let it enter the rotation. Any thoughts?

Hello, hello. We cycle back to Twig this month. Share your home-brewed concoctions, your patched up patients, your vat-grown warbeasts, or any other biopunky ideas you can imagine.
I'm experimenting a bit with the month inclusion to avoid confusion with the previous T.A.G.

The goal of these gen threads is to have fun coming up with interesting ideas that could belong in this setting. This setting is understandably harder to gen ideas for, so no need to stress getting everything right the first time.

Happy New Year! and hello to a new genning thread. This time the theme is set in the world of Pact and Pale. Magic spells, rituals, items, locations, beings, and other ideas are welcome for this month's gen thread. This is the one I'm expecting to be the easiest to gen for now that there's so much material to go off on.

The goal of these gen threads is to have fun coming up with interesting ideas that could belong in this setting. Really though, the magic system is so broad and intricate that just about most things could be argued to be replicable in Pact and Pale under different labels.

Hello again. Now that November is over, we can officially change the theme from the mad bio-punk of Twig to the equally mad superheroics of Worm and Ward. Hopefully, due to all the advice and handbooks Wildbow has provided over the years, superpowers are much easier for generating ideas.

The goal of these gen threads is to have fun coming up with interesting ideas that could belong in this setting. Make up whatever superpower, costume, backstory or etc you want.

Hello to whoever is here. I want to start a monthly thread in this community, and after some thinking, I figured a gen thread would be easiest for me to manage. My idea is for the thread's theme to rotate between each of Wildbow's stories each month. This month will be Twig-oriented.

For those that don't know what Twig is, It is the third web serial written by Wildbow.

Set in the early 1900s, Twig follows a group of child investigators of an unusual bent in a world where the science of biology runs rampant. A century ago, a genius unraveled the mysteries of life and biology, creating the first 'stitched' and biological horrors. Unlike his peers in similar literature (Frankenstein, Moreau), he was conscripted by the Crown, who took it to an extreme. The genre is a tentative 'biopunk' label, and the story spans a longer stretch of years, following the youths as they grow up.

The goal of these gen threads is to have fun coming up with interesting ideas that could belong in this setting. If you need a little creativity jump-start, I can suggest using a random word generator and picking three-ish nouns to combine into a 'biopunk' experiment.

If there were 20,000 of this guy, we could get a movie.
