Israel is building an illegal settlement over a Christian village in Bethlehem

Jabal al-Makhrur in the town of Beit Jala near Bethlehem has been seized by the Israeli settler movement. Israel’s Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, officially announced the construction of a settlement in the area, in complete disregard for the Palestinian Christians from whom the land has been stolen.
