Hello, I was thinking about posting a small comic strip about fantasy, is that allowed? I didn't find anything against it in the rules, but I preferred to check beforehand.
I noticed that this kind of content usually gets a lot of upvotes, and can bring more visibility to the community.
I don't really have anything to add, I just love this book. I searched for "The NeverEnding Story" in this community, saw that there was no post about it and wanted to fix that :).
I'm on book 5 of Mage Errant by John Beirce. Came across it on Kindle Unlimited and it's been pretty fun. Short reads, progression fantasy mildly YA, but I'm enjoying them.
Is it just elves that wear black or is there more to it? Maybe a mood or setting? Maybe it's an antihero thing? Im curious as to what it means and what some of the defining/seminal works of dark fantasy might be. I mean, it just sounds awesome right? DARK FANTASY!
Right now I am on Murderbot Diaries book 5. So good. Martha Wells really captures anxiety and depression from an internal standpoint well without it being overbearing. The character growth of the main character over the series has been lovely to read. (ok so I'm reading Sci-Fi....)
