Travis was taken to the hospital. No update in the article, but he's almost certainly done for the season, hopefully not longer.

The juiciest bit of the article:

According to Yahoo Sports, while Partridge is not alleged to have known about the sign-stealing operation, he is alleged to have covered up evidence after the fact. The Big Ten was prepared to reduce Harbaugh's suspension from three games to two before the information on Partridge's involvement was discovered, according to Sports Illustrated.

It's like no one has learned anything from Watergate. The cover up is worse than the crime!

I don't know if they will offer him (I do think it would be a slam-dunk hire), but if so I'm 99% sure he'd take it. I think I heard him say at one point it's a dream job for him and he is an East Texas guy.

A couple days old, but better late than never.

Also, I did not realize he's only 38 years old, wow.

The B1G investigation settled outside of court (the hearing for which was scheduled for tomorrow).

Michigan's statement:

"This morning, the University, Coach Harbaugh, and the Big Ten resolved their pending litigation ... The Conference agreed to close its investigation, and the University and Coach Harbaugh agreed to accept the three-game suspension. Coach Harbaugh, with the University's support, decided to accept this sanction to return the focus to our student-athletes and their performance on the field. The Conference has confirmed that it is not aware of any information suggesting Coach Harbaugh's involvement in the allegations. The University continues to cooperate fully with the NCAA's investigation."

B1G's statement:

"The Big Ten Conference's commitment to student-athletes, sportsmanship and the Commissioner's duty to protect the integrity of competition will never waver ... Today's decision by the University of Michigan to withdraw its legal challenge against the Conference's November 10th Notice of Disciplinary Action is indicative of the high standards and values that the Conference and the University seek to uphold. The University of Michigan is a valued member of the Big Ten Conference and the Conference will continue to work cooperatively with the University and the NCAA during this process."

Sherrone Moore expected to remain the gameday acting HC (unless the FCC swoops in and fines him, lol)

“If all the tied teams are not common opponents, the tied team that defeated each of the other tied teams earns the Championship berth.”

As George Stoia of On3’s Sooner Scoop pointed out, the original tiebreaker rules did not have that sentence in there. The language has been added to Step 1.

The court injunction news we were all waiting for, lol.

Key points from the article:

A Washington county judge ruled in their [OSU & Wazzou] favor, granting a preliminary injunction that gives the two schools control of Pac-12 governance and assets — an estimated $400 million this year.

Depending on a timeline for the appeals process, the case could continue for months without a resolution.

“We aren't saying that they [the other 10 schools] automatically lose their money,” said Eric MacMichael, an attorney for Oregon State and Washington State.

After exiting the Week 10 loss to Alabama with concussion symptoms, LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels was considered questionable heading into Saturday's home game against Florida. But there was nothing questionable about his performance in a 52-35 win over the Gators. Daniels became the first player in FBS history to throw for at least 350 yards and rush for at least 200 yards in the same game.

Not this year, this decade or this century. Ever.

Daniels' 606 yards of total offense included 372 yards passing and 234 yards rushing -- 85 of which came on the longest run by an LSU quarterback in program history in the second quarter. He scored five touchdowns in all.

Mississippi State relieved head football coach Zach Arnett of his duties Monday morning. Arnett compiled a 4-6 record (1-6 SEC) in the 2023 season through 10 games in his first year as full-time coach. Senior offensive analyst Greg Knox will serve as Mississippi State interim coach through the final two games of the season, according to ESPN.

Arnett was elevated from defensive coordinator to interim coach in 2022 following the untimely death of the legendary Mike Leach. After leading the team to an emotional victory in the ReliaQuest Bowl, the administration decided to promote Arnett to full-time coach during the offseason in lieu of conducting a national search for Leach's replacement.

The move to fire Arnett comes on the heels of a 51-10 loss for Mississippi State to Texas A&M in Week 11. Ironically, Arnett is not the first coach to be fired amid the fallout from that game. On Sunday, Texas A&M made the move to fire Jimbo Fisher despite the convincing win for the Aggies.

I know an available coach that likes maroon & white and dog mascots..
