Ugly Americans was pretty wild, but Drawn Together was a whole different level of wacky.

I'm excited. After owning an OG Pebble, a Pebble Time, and a Pebble 2 I still never found anything quite like the Pebble watches.

I've owned many smartwatches, most recently the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, 5, and 6. They have improved a lot over the generations and are nice in their own way. I just like the notifications and alarms on the Pebble.

I pre-ordered the rePebble Core Time 2 (what a stupid name) and can't wait. Couldn't justify the lower Core 2 Duo (another stupid name) since I wanted a real upgrade from the Pebble 2.

That was a fun watch, thx for sharing.

The federally accredited testing lab, Pro V&V, that signed off on "significant" changes to ES&S voting machines—which are used in over 40 percent of U.S. counties—"vanished from public view" after the election, according to the Dissent in Bloom Substack.

Yep, that seems pretty serious.

Without knowing about the specific models you mentioned, I'll provide my generic opinion on two of the brands.

Kef overall has a good sound profile (to me at least) for the money.

Klipsch tends to be very bright sounding with a focus on the higher frequencies (again, just a general opinion).

The honest answer is supposed to be that you should listen to each of the speakers, preferably with your own source material that you already know how it should sound. The problem with that is you probably don't have access to all models.

Thank you. Plus his "best friend" (John Goodman) was a complete dick that did nothing of benefit for him the entire movie.

Haven't watched it in years though, so I was planning to re-watch and see if my opinion changes.

Your link is from an event in 2022. Not sure if there is a newer situation with similar circumstances.

What is this, a crossover episode?

Seems like a strawman argument.

So you're saying it's not fixable?

Up for sale is a flying carpet project. Currently doesn't fly for me, but I feel that I just wasn't believing enough in myself.

Original seller demonstrated the carpets impressive flying abilities, so I know it works. I may have eaten a few mushrooms prior to their demo, but they assured me it had nothing to do with it.

So far, the only thing it's done for me is break a few bones (and my spirit). Up to new buyer to get it working again.

I lost the original instructions, sorry.

Price is $4,000

Looks like some nice additions to the PineTime including always on display (even though the PineTime doesn't natively support AoD).

Haven't loaded it yet, but maybe a weekend project.

Johnny Gaudreau (and his brother Matt) have died.

No other details have been released yet, just that it was an "accident".

Ordered a PineTime (and a Pinecil) direct on 6/26/2024, it shipped from China on 6/28 and I received it today 7/5. I'm on the west coast of the US and I'm really impressed with the shipping time.

Charged it a bit, then updated to the current InfiniTime 1.14.

Bootloader is still at 1.0.0, there hasn't been any updates for that, right?

It also says to update the recovery firmware, but I don't see which version I'm currently on and couldn't find an updated version.

Otherwise, it seems nice so far. I'm on Android and setting up with GadgetBridge wasn't difficult (since I knew to pair directly from GB and not using the phones BTW pairing).

Looks like they already de-listed the Hot Wheels DLC pack, so the only way I found to purchase it was from a code site like Eneba. Wish they had given us a little warning first.

Includes some nice upgrades from the original XP Lite, including an optional belt drive.
