It is in ours, too. We just decided "fuck it, full fascism speed run".

If you've lived there then you know the bell curve is weighted heavily toward magatry.

He's gonna do something stupid. I'm surprised they haven't already. The Epstein Files need distracting from. They tried troop deployments on US soil. Bombing in the middle east. Nothing dramatic on the Supreme Court docket.

If there isn't a natural disaster right now they're gonna pull some shit. Any guesses?

I definitely see myself understanding the world more, and that obviously will come with experience. However, with that also comes wisdom, and specifically the wisdom to look back and see that some adults were fucking fucktards.

I was a better person than them then, and am certainly a better person now.

Enjoy hell, Mr. K.

Machine Learning is the general field, and I think if we weren't wrapped up in the AI hype we could be training models to do important things like diagnosing disease and not writing shitty code or creating fantasy art work.

This. So fucking much this. I've seen Jira used to plan waterfall schedules, to track meeting actions, and as a relational database. And all of them claiming to be "agile".

When used for the right thing in the right way, Jira is a great tool. It is people who make it shitty, and specifically the type of PM who doesn't understand the complexities, people or technical, of their work.

Thank you for the article!

It doesn't fill me with much hope, unfortunately. The brightest spot comes in the concluding paragraph:

Although the court could be more forceful in pushing back on Trump... “it is unmistakable now that they are calling him out.”

Even if he's correct, I think they're too late and are now powerless to do anything. The real body supposed to be holding the executive accountable, the legislature, is fundamentally incapable of doing so. Add to that the wave of newly minted ICE agents who will likely be eager to uphold whatever order comes their way for that sweet government paycheck, I'm betting the rule of law is not going to save us.

I want to be wrong.

I didn't get it until your comment, so you've got that in me.

Are you really citing precedent as if the law even fucking matters anymore?

I realize I'm being an asshole and I'm sorry. And if any of these ass clowns get held accountable for anything they do I'll happily eat crow.

I just don't see it... We're in for a hard reset sometime soon.

We've had nothing but problems with our K2. We spent $1500 for a unit that works half the time, and their support is hit or miss. Right now it is throwing seemingly random error codes and their support is stumped and not offering help.

We should have gone with the Bambu.

I truly hope there are people who don't get this. I want to believe.
