I'd suggest weekly system image backups and daily differential/incrementals. A couple of minutes a day saves everything (and you will sleep soundly)

Go to any site (eg weather). In hamburger menu (bottom right) select Add To Home Screen. Launch Firefox using that Home Screen icon.

Create a cookie exception (to prevent deletion)
When accessing a site you’d (from address bar/^i) open permissions and specifically ALLOW cookies for that site.

Sorry missed the link provided. There is no feed. Alternatively in Inoreader (paid version) for instance (and other sources) you can monitor the page for changes.

See "Manage Exceptions" (Privacy in Settings).
Typically, when accessing an "exception web page" you'd (from address bar/^i) open permissions and specifically ALLOW cookies for that site.
