Republicans out number Democrats. It'd be interesting to see if they could get 50+1 in an election year with both Manchin and Sinema eager to tank anything good or decent.

They are the ones who vote. They don't need a majority. They need a majority of voters. They seem to have it. I think we're learning that we have the country that we want more and more everyday. We don't want better, we want this.

If there's anything I know it's Republicans and Democrats will unify to thwart any progressive momentum and then turn back on each other when the 'threat' is done with. The media will eat the slop up and more morons will believe that Nazi Germany actually was good.

The balance is exactly where it's been at. You could certainly make the case they had two majorities when they didn't bother to give their own employer money.

We evolved in an environment without heating, plumbing, electricity, and modern medicine. Are you suggesting that we get rid of all that too or just manufactured meat?

The issue is Republicans hate people and liberals want the privilege without sacrificing anything. You can't fix that.
