I kept the multiple of 10 recommended. This was with 20 chained and then I wrapped around and started picking up loops for the second row. Or uh, first real row after the chains.

It seems doable. Assuming you're working off these instructions (https://newstitchaday.com/tunisian-ocean-stitch/), skip the +2 in the starting chain and for the return pass just repeat 'yo through 4 loops, ch2' from the start.

That said...this might be a stitch that'll be completely one color in the round, since the chained return pass is hidden. My sample only has color since it's so loose. Tan is the forward pass, green is the return pass.

Seconding hobbii, though I mostly buy their cotton yarns. They have rotating sales that change every week on Tuesday morning-ish Denmark time (each lasts 2 weeks), so the trick is to wait until the yarn you want is on sale.

My favorite was in the honorable mentions. It really captured that annoying sibling vibe lol.

Waiting for hunting leasons or food delivery?

I suppose it doesn't matter, since they're adorable regardless.

Maybe a yellow warbler?

I imagine they voice some strong opinions. Are those both juveniles?

Whoops lol. That happens to me a lot with the smaller birds I try to get pictures of.

They are indeed tiny horns. Maybe they'll show up a bit better in this pic

Nope, not in Victoria. It must be the right time of year for owls.

Saw this lil guy the other day

The Mountain Pygmy Possum population is recovering in NSW. Article with bonus pics: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2025-05-07/mountain-pygmy-possum-kosciuszko-national-park-/105257852

In the northern hemisphere, at least. This little guy was kind enough to let me take a picture.
