The film Click always makes me cry. You know, the comedy where Adam Sandler has a magic tv remote? I'm not gonna go into too much detail on which scene; spoiler tags don't seem to work on my Lemmy reader, so I won't know if I'm doing it right. I'm just going to say it's the scene where he has an important message to deliver to his son. Gets me every time.

My wife and I have discussed contingency plans for what to do if there's an afterlife. If one of us ends up in a good place and the other in a bad place, we're both determined to do whatever is necessary to meet in ideally a middle place or whichever place will take both of us otherwise. If we become spirits that walk the earth unseen by mortals, we'll meet in the desert where we had our wedding. If we are forced to reincarnate, we will attempt to bargain to reincarnate as the same species within a small enough geographical distance that we can likely meet again.

Smokeless tobacco placed under the lip for the nicotine to be absorbed by the gums. If you're familiar with dipping tobacco ("dip"), it's the same concept, but the tobacco is processed differently and is usually in little teabag-like pouches for convenience.

Care to elaborate?

Original trailer: https://youtu.be/nLtmEjqzg7M

Today's trailer: https://youtu.be/75bfyy-XkQg

The current trailer shows a much wider variety of flora, fauna, and landscape in the planetary scenes, and much higher graphical fidelity throughout. The only way I could see someone describe the first as "better," is if they prefer the cartoony aesthetic that the game has slowly been leaning away from.

For something that old, you should try Q4OS. It's a Debian-based distro like Mint, but it's designed for stability while using the absolute minimum resources.

I recently installed it on a gateway laptop that's at least 20 years old. I didn't try streaming video or anything, but just opening the browser and looking at wikis was a perfectly normal experience. I dare say that laptop is working better now than when it had Windows XP.

It's not for copyright infringement, it's for patent infringement. Apparently when they made Legends Arceus, Nintendo patented the idea of pointing the camera at a monster and throwing stuff at it.

I think you meant "morale" instead of "moral."

When I got my first Rubik's cube, I never thought I'd ever be able to solve it in under a minute. I still can't, because it turns like garbage, but I got a 30 second solve on my MoYu cube recently.

My understanding is that admins already have access to see who votes. This feature is to make then visible to everyone.

I really want to rewatch Home Improvement. My memories of it from childhood paint it as the most progressive thing on tv. It was shocking when I went to see Tim Allen perform "stand-up" a few years ago and it was mostly rants about "snowflakes."

Yeah, but the LGBTQ people in those areas probably wouldn't buy that stuff either for fear of being outed and ostracized.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but on PS5 you'll need to send individual images to a friend, to be able to download them from your chat session on the mobile app.

That's the way on PS4. PS5 automatically sends all photo and video captures to the PS app on your phone. They disappear after 14 days, so if you don't save them within two weeks, then you have to get them with chat posts like PS4.
