Like music explicit about winter and how it makes you feel. Maybe think more yuletide than Christmas I suppose. Heavy on the pine wood forest and cold winter nights and light on the Jesus and love

The vibes don't have to be happy either, some songs by woods of ypres work as well

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is my go-to for some of this vibe, although it can be hit or miss based on your criteria.

antipodean christmas has little of the wintry association tbh. That said, I can't immediately think of a xmas song that doesn't touch on love etc

  • Violet Cold - Kosmik

  • Kauan - Sorni Nai

Woods of ypres totally fits this list and I'm so glad you mentioned these lol. I just edited my post to clarify that I don't necessarily mean happy songs too only to find this comment right after

Classic, the Dead version or the Attila version?

May not be your cup of tea but Big Gigantic puts out a "Winter Chill" mix every year: https://soundcloud.com/biggigantic/sets/winter-chill-mixes

piano winterlude

Classic mom music. Instrumental versions of traditional tunes often with that β€œWyndham hill” vibe.

E: windham hill winter sample albums are gonna be good, earlier ones have that heady sound, later ones are more reined in.

This song captures how I feel looking out at a snowy winter night: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sbOiD7PZsQM

It's from an instrumental piano album called December by George Winston

I have one that technically isn't much about religion, and has nothing on love

It's still Christmassy though (I mean its based it's basically an instrumental cover of one)

That being said, it's "Deadly Gentlemen", an FPS soundtrack...
