Thank you for marking that NSFW. It was spicy!

Helps a little with the head tracking on the Reverb G2.

Nice rig. Fancy joining our hot lap challenge?

How does one join it? :) Edit: nevermind, sorry. Didn't see the new post

Where is this new post? lemmy.ml was down for a day or two, maybe it hasn't caught up?

Wow, yeah my instance just doesn't have that post... weird. Thanks!

A for this round.

Beautiful. Compact, functional and very practical. I love it.

Looks great! Another blue spring user!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I started blue before being convinced to try red. Did so for a couple of weeks, then went back to blue for that sweet, sweet pedal travel.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago

I have back issues and I’m using a wheel stand so there was no point in trying red yet. Once I get a full 8020 rig in the future I may try it. But right now the blue spring is nice.

Very nice! I need to figure out a way to fit a full rig in my apartment somewhere, just using a wheel stand for now

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago (2 children)

I started with the NLR wheel stand and started looking into the seat add-on. It was the same overall length, but more money than this ASR 3 cockpit so I returned the wheel stand. If you can find a way to squeeze it into your space, it’s a big upgrade from the wheel stand!

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Thoughts on ASR3? I was concerned VRS pedals and VRS wheelbase would be too much for it and was probably going to go ASR4 or 6.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Not sure about the wheelbase as it’s more torque than the 15 Nm I get with the Alpha, but the pedals are fine and no flex noticed.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago

Thanks! I’ll probably still just do a 4 then but not a 6. I don’t plan on any motion.

I have the NLR wheel stand 2.0 right now, but would ideally love an extruded aluminium rig like this, do you play in VR? Or do you wheel the rig into position when you’re racing?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Strictly VR. I measured and I might have just enough clearance for a G9, but I really love the depth perception that VR gives.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago

I need to give VR a proper go soon! I have an headset but just havent used it for racing, at least not since I’ve actually become somewhat competent

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago

I have the same wheel stand. I wheel it into position for superwide or leave it off to the side for VR.
