So far so good lmao

What drove my interest in the field was a passion for technology, relative quietness of an office job, and opportunities to use programming skills for personal use, and to some degree I've gotten all three of those.

In the next few years I should probably look towards a position that pays better, but for now, I'm content with what I've got.
