after a certain length it becomes trivial to cut your own hair too. mines down past my waist so i can just see where it needs to be trimmed. 0 dollars for me

Everytime I ask the barbers of the world to just cut a little bit off the sides and they always fucking annihilate the hair from orbit 
Had a hairdresser get very nervous when asking her to lop off like 2 feet of hair. I had avoided going to one for years because I was nervous they'd try to masculinize my hair style or just go too far and make it too short.
Kinda grateful I found a hairdresser that does pronouns and all that stuff. It made it much easier to appropriate Rika's style from Pokemon. Definitely an improvement on the previous place that when mask-off with their homophobia, transphobia, and misogyny all in the span of one appointment.
