Jerboa is now nagging me because I'm logging into an instance with an unsupported version. Just FYI.

Same for me. It also seems more unstable since the update ๐Ÿ˜•

This might just be a tempest in a teacup but there's concerns with the devs yanking out the current CAPTCHA implementation and not providing a replacement for 0.18.0

This, understandably, may cause a reasonable delay in upgrading. We might not even get an upgrade until a 0.18.x or greater release is released with some CAPTCHA implementation.

I do hope we get a newer version soon; the lemmy-UI seems to keep crashing my tabs.

It's been crashing for me often in Jerboa since the latest update.

same here. also sort by hot on lemmy.ml works now on 0.18.0

Did not upgrading to 18 break the hot sorting? ML seems to be sorting fine.

I feel it's been broken for a few days now. I used to see some recent threads (<12h old) in there, now it's all 2 and 3 day old stuff. I barely get any fresh content in there.

I think on pre-0.18, the instance server needs to be restarted regularly, there's an issue causing the Hot/Active algorithm to stuck

Isn't it already broken anyway?
