Greater Seattle-area guy. Many interests mostly technical and software-related. Sailor, woodworker, traveler, avid reader. Pragmatic progressive. Elder Scrolls Online solo-er. So very, very glad to find a place that isn't flooded with fans, stans, shills, bots, &tc. Cheers!

I tried to get into woodworking a while ago. I joined a hackerspace and took some classes on various tools and planned to make myself an amazing desk.

Then I caught the travel bug, sold most of my worldly belongings, and bought a one-way ticket to Chile with my wife, so my learning there stalled.

Quite the adventure! Doing things or making things, it's all good. I'm a fan of big life changes; I'd rather talk to someone with a varied life than someone who sits and stares at the TV.
