The error says An unhandled promise rejection occurred: "Content-Length header of network response exceeds response Body." What will this error do?

Hi, everyone Does anyone happen to know how the default character generator creates names, and if that's editable? I know it's a pretty trivial thing - I can come up with my own easily enough - but I get a little tired of the same names being used over and over (and over, and over.) Is this something I can tweak on my end, or is it embedded pretty deep in the text-generation plugin(s)?

Hey I know on your main page for the AI Character Chat, you can create new folders for organising your characters, but is there any way, if you have some that you want all in the same folder (say they're all going to be used in the same chat), once you have them in that folder to be able to reorder what order they are in?

just had two different users have an issue with adding a new pfp to use in the chat. on both i personally made sure that it was done correctly .jpg not to massive neither image should have been triggered by the filter, one of the two had even been used prior but the user cleared browser cache and needed to reupload it where earlier it had worked, now once i paste the link and select the image the chat becomes very laggy and takes much longer than usual to send replies

The parameter I am talking about specifically is the __generatorLastEditTime parameter.

I was using Vue Router with its createWebHashHistory() API to make hash routes for an application, since Perchance doesn't support actual routes for apps.

I made a simple logic to simply remove it.

Issue 1 - i run Firefox web browser and i am not seeing the option to comment on individual gallery images. on opera i see the option. i seen a few others with this problem. So is this issue being looked in to?

Issue 2 - just today the pfp/avatar old images work, but any recently uploaded ones aren't working. and it wasn't just me having this issue. anyone in the chat also had the same thing happening.

Fun Facts - running Windows 8.1, everything is up to date. its not cache/temp as i tried a private tab with fully cleared settings.

E.G. I want to create a list of siblings and create relationships between them. I can generate as many names as required, and if I had a list of them it'd be easy [mylist.consumableList.selectMany(1,3)] to pick some of them.

When generating images, is there way to get it to understand the relative size of objects in the picture? Like you want an object A, and then you want an object B and you want Object B to x times the size of Object A. Can you go "Object B is 3 the size of Object A"? Or does it get measurements? "Object A is 1 meter long, Object B is 3 meters long."?

I'm encountering a very persistent and unusual issue with my new generator, and I'm hoping someone can offer some insight. I'm trying to create a narrative using the goto-plugin, but I keep getting "undefined" errors for [title] and [output], even when I paste known working code.

Here's the situation:

1. A known working goto-plugin example functions perfectly for me. (I can visit https://perchance.org/vc0cw4gi07 and it displays and navigates as expected, with no errors in my browser console.)

2. When I copy this working code into a brand new, empty generator (https://perchance.org/kb2v71oinp), delete all default code and perform a clean paste of the entire content from https://perchance.org/vc0cw4gi07, it gives me errors:

   • An error has occurred somewhere in your code (in lists or HTML): The expression '[title]' returned nothing (undefined). You may be trying to reference a list, variable, or function that doesn't exist.

I'm not adding or changing anything during the copy-paste process, so why does it not work?

Has anyone encountered this before, or does anyone have suggestions for how to debug this when the source code itself is known to be valid and functional elsewhere? Could this be related to browser caching, an account-specific issue, or something else I'm overlooking?

There's something going on in the list panel . When you click space the texts next gets messy . Like

Anime style.
Prompt = anime style image of .....
Negative = realistic.....

(Now I clicked space or next line button then the prompt vanishes and gets replaced with negative.)

It wasn't like this 3 days ago.

Have you recently noticed the submit function in the chat acting weird or buggy? It sometimes returns [undefined] when used — not sure if it’s broken or just lagging. Anyone else seeing this?

Why do new generators start public?

it's a nothing gen with nothing on it yet. Shouldn't it start private and then, when I'm ready for it to be public I toggle that setting? or is generator page filled with: the ideal? What if, instead, it contained only what people INTENTIONALLY made public?

Im not saying 'weed out nonfamous people'. I'm asking whether new gens starting public is really what's best. I also don't even strongly have this stance since it's just an idea I had today so don't viciously attack me like if I'm tearing apart your soul. I'd think a newcommer, when ready for people to come to their gen, would have no problem toggling to public. Discussion welcome.

Some of users suggested a gallery comment notification, which is already possible via desktop notification pushing - but might harder to do anything further I supposed.

Another user suggests comment counter badge superimposed on top of it, which would work like chat unread channel - it seems need a hard work but might be more feasible??

I want to suggest some improvements for the perchance website:

1. The "Learn":

• move all "Learning" into one place, instead of beeing split into multiple places and websites, with makes it difficult to read

• re-organize the topics, grouping them in common categories

• add the "learn" topics of any part of generator (with include the "Persona / Chat"

2. Generators:

• replace the search engine from Google to (for example) DuckDuckGo to enchance privacy. Google spyes on users and sell those data to Third Parties and Entitlies

• add possibility to delete, rename, set it's: privacy, fiters, rating, etc.

How can I see comments left on my images?

I think there is a subtle but important feature that perchance is missing, It is about the public gallery, I really wish there were a delete button in case of accidental image postings but sadly there is not. I've seen a lot of people requesting and I myself strongly desire such an option. I'm pretty sure this is one of the features many people who don't talk about it also desire. What are you guys' thoughts? Should the moderator take a serious look at this?

Two questions.

1. So I was wondering how I could delete my account, How do you contact the dev? Also does deleting the account also delete the images that you've posted on public gallery?

2. I have heard that the images you've posted in the gallery using your account isn't associated with your account? Then what is it associated to? Its so confusing. I am asking this because it seems you cannot find what you've posted on the public gallery, and somehow you can block some users and their photos will never appear in the gallery for you, This confirms your image is associated with your account, then why can't someone access their own images?

Also I think perchance should really add a image delete button for the ones who have posted on the public gallery, the only thing thats not letting perchance hit the peak community imo.

It's obvious switching IP leads to ban evading. But some of those troll would not bother changing their names(or they don't care, or they want to brag, or don't even know they are banned).

Anyway, the suggestions is that user name, nickname in chat, and gallery title and description could also be moderated.

I cobbled together a user script that allows filtering the gallery by text search, style, age restriction and more. The usefulness is limited (see below), but hopefully it can serve as a reference for a future native implementation. It also adds a filter button overlay to individual image previews, which show you other images from the same other.

Limitations:

• The filter panel is stuck to the top of the gallery, because the gallery iframe doesn't know the main page's scroll state.
• Only filters the currently loaded images. after using the "load more" button, the filters have to be cleared and reapplied to the new set.
