I'm probably a bit older than the average Redditor and remember things like the printer you could get with a ZX Spectrum and the dot matrix printers. Laser printers were like something from sci-fi when they came out.

I've had a few different printers. I've recently "upgraded" to a H2D, which is just - to me - the most incredible kit. The novelty of 3D printing has yet to wear off. I still marvel at the fact that there's some plastic wire, it gets heated to an exact temperature, then used like ink to "draw" a sculpture as designed on a computer, and all within accuracies of tiny measurements.

It's like living in the future.
